Easy Rose Gold Makeup Tutorial

Recently I have been loving rose gold makeup looks! I think they look gorgeous, but sometimes it can be a bit tricky to achieve the perfect rose gold finish, especially with the eyeshadows. So today I decided to create my own very easy version, and make a tutorial of it on YouTube so it will hopefully help some of you!

Here’s a list of the products that I used:

  • Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation (the medium coverage one) in 010 light porcelain

I bought this foundation recently in Hungary because it was the only one in the colour light porcelain. It is not the same as the other Lasting Finish foundation in the red bottle as this one is medium coverage instead of full coverage. I just need to use some concealer with it, but it does work really well, it’s a nice colour and very easy to blend. I am planning to buy the full coverage one though, once I get back to England.

  • Catrice Liquid Camouflage concealer in 010 porcelain

After many failures I finally found a concealer that actually matches my skintone. It is not absolutely perfect so it doesn’t cover spots with just one layer, but I like to use it on my smaller blemishes and redness on my face. It also works well to cover the dark circles under my eyes.

  • Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 001 transparent

This has been my go-to powder for a couple of months now, and I haven’t been disappointed, I would recommend this one to everyone.

  • Catrice Eyebrow Stylist pencil in 020 Date With Ash-ton

Even though the name of this products indicates that it has an ashy tone, somehow it goes really well with my eyebrow and hair colour which has a bit of a red tone.

  • Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr gel-cream eyeshadow in 65 Pink Gold

This product is the key to all rose gold makeup looks! It is a perfect base colour, very longlasting, very pigmented. It might seem a bit expensive compared to other drugstore single eyeshadows, but I think it is definitely worth the price! I have this in the bronze colour as well, and they are just flawless!

  • Carice Absolute Nude eyeshadow palette

This eyeshadow palette has every necessary colour for beginners! From the champagne-highlight colour to the gold and ashy-browns, you can use this for any makeup look. I chose the rose-toned colours to blend together with the gel eyeshadow.

  • Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara

This one is my favourite mascara ever! It makes your lashes very long, black and volumized.

  • Catrice Prime And Fine professional contouring palette in 010 Ashy Radiance

I felt like this ashy-toned bronzer will go perfectly with this makeup look! I didn’t want to use too much of it tough, because I wanted to keep my skin as pale as possible, I only wanted to add a bit more depth to my face. I didn’t use any blush either, only the highlighter from this palette.

  • Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in 070 Airy Fairy

This lipstick is the perfect one for all rose gold makeup looks! It is a gorgeous pink colour, I love it.

Holiday in Croatia

So this year, it was the first time that I had a proper holiday by the sea. For some reason, my family only likes to go and explore big cities, which I really love doing, but I also wanted to try going to a seaside town for a holiday. And now that I have a best friend who literally lives a 2 minute walk away from the sea, my opportunity has come.

As there are no flights between Hungary and Croatia, and I am not experienced enough to drive by myself for 10 hours, I had two options: train or bus. To Croatia I chose to go with an overnight train, which I have never done before, so I thought I would try it. But because I only bought my ticket one week before the journey, there were only second class tickets left for cabins with 6 people. Well, it’s definitely going to be an adventure, I thought. In reality, it was just horrible. Can you imagine sitting in one place for 15 hours without any electricity to charge your phone or any wifi to use your laptop? I am one of those people who get bored very easily, and I am also a bit claustrophobic, so let’s just say the journey seemed even longer than endless. But after 15 hours of boredom I finally arrived in Split, where my best friend, Ema waited for me.

We spent the first day having some rest and sleeping on the sofa in Ema’s family’s apartment, and we went to the cinema in the evening, so it was nothing special. On the second day we went out to explore Split, and it was beautiful. First we explored Diocletian’s palace, which is basically an ancient town and now people still live inside and there are a lot of shops, museums and galleries. There is also a cathedral with a bell tower, it is beautiful. Then we went for a walk in the forest park Marjan to a viewing point, it was really nice. After that we wandered around the little beach shops on the hunt for some rose gold sunglasses, and we both ended up buying the same pair in different shades. #Bestfriendgoals.

We also went down to the beach in Split, which is a sandy beach. It was really crowded and the water was not very blue or clear because of the sand. But it was still good to swim, because it was my first time going into the sea for such a long time! After that we went back to the promenade by the sea where we sat down for an iced coffee with vanilla ice cream and just chilled for a couple of hours. There were so many amazing artists on the street, from gymnasts to singers and bands, they somehow created a very good mood in the city and made it feel cosy.

In the evening we travelled to Baska Voda, which is the small town where Ema lives. The next day we went down to the beach, which was amazing! This beach was filled with little rocks instead of sand so the water seemed much clearer. The view was also incredible: on one side you can see the huge mountains and on the other side the clear sea and the Croatian islands in the distance. I bought the best snorkelling glasses that I could possibly get, because ever since I was a child I’ve loved swimming underwater and exploring the sea (or mostly the pool, because I didn’t go to the sea). So this was basically my childhood dream coming true. I could see so many sea urchins and cute small fishes, it was amazing! …until Ema told me that some fishes do actually bite you, so I got scared and ran out of the water, haha!

And then many other beach days followed, until the day I got ill. Yes, exactly at the worst time ever, my body decided to fail me and force me to slow down for a couple of days. We still went up to the mountains, where I could see almost the same view as in the Game of Thrones scene with Daenerys and the dragons, and we looked at some olive trees and lavender bushes. The weather was also very stormy and cold, so we stayed inside for a long time. In the evening we decided to go for a little walk, and it turned out to be amazing! There were less people outside and it was very calming and nice to be by the sea. We found a really cool spot on the rocks, where we could see some little caves and it was surrounded by pine trees. The sun also decided to come out so it was so nice to be outside! I loved it.

As soon as I got better the next week, we returned to the beach, and also decided to do something a little bit more adventurous. So every day until then, I was watching people flying above the sea with parachutes which were attached to motorboats, and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. I wanted to do it so much! So when the weather was nice again, we did it. It was possible for me and Ema to go together with one parachute, so it was definitely the best of all our #bestfriendgoals moments. The view was incredible, even though it was a bit terrifying to be up there in the air above the sea. I loved it and it was over too soon! I definitely want to go again.

I spent 12 days in Croatia, and I really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful country, and I loved swimming in the sea and exploring the forest next to Baska Voda. And then it was Ema’s turn to come to Hungary and see my hometown. To come back, we had to take two buses (she didn’t want to go with an overnight train, and to be fair I didn’t want to do it again either). So we took a bus to Zagreb, which was 7 hours and another one to Budapest, which was 5 hours. 12 hours of complete boredom and discomfort. Let’s not discuss that any further, the point is that we survived, and now it’s time to continue our adventures!

The day after we came back to Hungary we went to a festival to see our favourite band live. I was doing a vlog on that day, so I might upload it later and of course write a blog post about it as well. So stay tuned to see our adventures in Hungary!

5 Summer Outfit Ideas!

Hello everybody, and welcome back to my blog!

Today I’m showing you 5 of my favourite summer outfits, in the hope of giving you some inspiration for the rest of the summer. I absolutely love all of these outfits, I think these are all perfect to wear when the weather is hot. The thing I especially love about these clothes is that they are mostly basic pieces that you can vary with different accessories. You can even create a different look every time you wear them. In this post I’m going to tell you where I got my clothes from and also make some suggestions on how you can vary these outfits to match your own style.

Outfit #1

This one is definitely the most elegant, I think. For this outfit I originally wanted to wear dark blue high-waisted shorts, but literally one minute before filming this video I broke the zips on them. So I improvised and wore my black shorts instead, which make this outfit a bit more elegant. This pair is from H&M. I absolutely love this grey crop top with the lace detail at the bottom; it is also from H&M.

I decided to wear black accessories with gold and silver details, which make the look a bit more exciting. I love mixing gold and silver jewellery; I think it looks much more interesting and effortless than trying to wear either everything gold or everything silver. My necklace with the black flowers is from Stradivarius.

To create your own look, you can wear different coloured shorts with this crop top, even a pair of jeans to make it more casual. You can wear any sandals that you have, or you can add a pair of converse shoes to make the outfit less elegant. Don’t be afraid to mix your gold and silver accessories either. And you’re done with your own version!

Outfit #2

This one is definitely my favourite outfit ever! It is perfect for a summer festival. I LOVE this patterned romper from H&M, I think it really emphasizes my waist and gives me a good figure. The blue/green pattern looks amazing and I like the little lace detail at the décolletage. I usually put on this very light, laced cardigan from Primark when it gets a bit chilly at night.  I love the little fringe at the bottom!

I don’t think that this outfit needs any jewellery, so I only put on this tiny necklace that I got as a gift from my best friend. I’m wearing my hat and aviator sunglasses, and I paired this outfit with my favourite summer boots. These are from a brand called Venturini; they were a bit pricy but amazing quality.

I think it’s really worth it to buy a nice, patterned romper for the summer, as it is very comfortable and easy to wear. There are some really good ones in H&M. For a casual festival-look, pair them with some summer boots and a hat!

Outfit #3

This is probably the most romantic outfit. Unfortunately it was very sunny outside when we filmed this, so you can’t really see my top and my shoes perfectly. The cute floral skirt is from Stradivarius. I think the white top and ballerina shoes make this look very summery. My shoes are from Deichmann.

I made this outfit a bit more interesting with the necklace that has a geometric pattern, it is from Primark. Don’t be afraid to experiment and mix up your clothes with different style accessories or jewellery! I think the contrast between the necklace and the skirt looks really exciting. The floral pattern also comes back on my sunglasses, which is also from Stradivarius.

To recreate this outfit, wear your favourite floral skirt with a white top and a pair of ballerina shoes or sandals. Try to experiment with some accessories that you wouldn’t necessarily want to wear with floral patterns; it might turn out to be awesome!

Outfit #4

This one is my other absolute favourite; I’ve been wearing it a lot during this summer. My dark green skirt is originally a long, sleeveless dress from H&M. To make it more interesting, on top of it I put on this very cool crop top, also from H&M. Wearing a hat and large sunglasses with a long skirt is almost obligatory, if you are going for a chic, classy effect! The only thing missing is a huge handbag, haha. My sunglasses are from Mango.

My sandals are almost like a piece of jewellery, I love them, they are from Deichmann. I decided to wear gold accessories with this outfit, my rings and my bracelet are from Claire’s.

To make your own version of this look, wear an interesting patterned crop top with a long skirt, or just put it on top of a long dress. This way you can wear your dress in a lot of different ways, so you never get bored of it. To look classy and elegant, put on your hat and a pair of large sunglasses, and you’re done!

Outfit #5

This outfit is all about the jewellery! This romper from H&M might be a bit basic, but sure you can make it look awesome with some cool accessories, especially a long necklace! This cute owl necklace is an old one from Tally Weijl.

I also put on long earrings, some bracelets and two rings from Claire’s. The gladiator sandals also make the look more interesting, these ones are from Deichmann. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your favourite accessories to make a basic piece of clothing more exciting!

I hope you enjoyed this video and blog post just as much as I enjoyed making them! If you liked it, please give my video a thumbs up and subscribe to my Youtube channel!

My First Youtube Video! Bronze Summer Makeup Tutorial

Hello everybody, and welcome back to my blog!

After my first year of university, I realised that the thing I regret the most is not continuing my blog. So here I am, back again, more inspired and enthusiastic than ever. I have been through a lot this year, I learned so much, I travelled and explored new places. But something was missing.

I have done this before. I’ve had a twitter account since I was 12 years old and documented everything I did or felt (offensive things only in my diary, haha). Since I was 14 I have been inseparable from my camera. When I was 15 years old, I started making videos, which I absolutely loved, but I wasn’t confident enough to upload them to Youtube. I also didn’t really speak English back then, but I already knew that anything I do, I want to do in English.

So after my life has turned around within one year, I realised that the only thing I miss from my old life is documentation and sharing my experience with other people. Connecting with them by social media. I know that this is a very controversial topic, but I like to always concentrate on the positive side of things. I think it is amazing to be a part of an online community, to be able to share your thoughts with others and connect with people who are interested in the same things.

And now the time has come.

Getting inspired by my 16-year-old self, I made my first proper make up tutorial video. It was very daunting at first to make it public, but with the support of my family and my amazing best friends nothing seems impossible. I decided that I would also write a blog post about every video that I make, just so I can give you a bit more details and another platform to discuss them. So, let’s talk about the makeup tutorial!

First, here’s the list of products that I used:

– Make up brush set: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NOEWCZA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

– Essence powder brush

– Maybelline Affinimat foundation (light porcelain)

– Catrice Liquid Camouflage concealer (porcelain)

– Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer (ivory)

– Rimmel Stay Matt powder (transparent)

– Catrice Eyebrow Stylist pencil (Date with Ash-ton)

– Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hrs gel eyeshadow (35 On and On Bronze)

– Catrice Absolute Nude eyeshadow palette

– Maybelline Push Up Drama mascara

– Catrice Ultimate Colour lipstick (204 Hey Nude)

– Rimmel face palette

The makeup brushes I ordered from amazon, because I do not have the budget for expensive ones. But they are surprisingly good, I’ve been really enjoying using them, so I thought it might be useful to share the link if any of you also don’t want to spend a fortune on makeup brushes.

All the other makeup products are from drugstores, so if you like any of them, you should be able to get most of them easily. However, I haven’t seen any Essence or Catrice Cosmetics products in the UK, so I’m not sure if you can get those. But if you live in another part of Europe, you can find them in drugstores, like Rossmann or Muller.

If you decide to recreate this makeup look, please don’t hesitate to send me a picture on Twitter or Instagram, because I would love to see it. Please also give my video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and subscribe to my Youtube channel if you want to see more.
